What Is Psyllium Kha-Kha?
Kha-Kha is the residual powder generated during the milling and processing of psyllium husk (isabgol) from the seed husks of Plantago ovata. It contains a significant proportion of the seed coat and endosperm material that does not meet the purity or fiber standards required for food or pharmaceutical applications.
Despite not being suitable for human use, Kha-Kha retains the natural mucilaginous (binding) properties of psyllium. When added to water or soil it swells and forms a gel, making it valuable as a natural binder and stabilizer in industrial applications.
